Lampuga is a bench with integrated lamppost that uses the sea as a source of renewable and sustainable energy.
It is proposed as an alternative solution to the excessive exploitation of industrial energy, which is still one of the fundamental problems of climate change. Lampuga is composed of a mechanical system that exploits the perpetual motion coming from the sea, supporting the change of the tides and exploiting the tidal range. Through a rack and a gear wheel, connected in turn to a dynamo, it manages to accumulate energy to spread light in the surrounding environment. A twilight sensor positioned on the upper end then allows you to set a timer for turning the bulb on and off. Lampuga is a visually interesting bench that not only aims to redevelop some port city areas using renewable energy but actually gives the environment a character and a romantic and relaxed atmosphere.

Lampuga è una panchina con lampione integrato che sfrutta il mare come fonte di energia rinnovabile e sostenibile. Si propone come soluzione alternativa allo sfruttamento eccessivo di energia industriale, il quale risulta tutt’oggi uno dei problemi fondanti del cambiamento climatico.
